The world of Pokémon Legends: Arceus is full of weird and wonderful Pokémon. Some pop up frequently, while others, such as Eevee, are a rare encounter in the world. Yet, there are a few creatures in the Hisui region that are so rare you can only find them in a specific location, after meeting certain regulations, and there’s just one available for you to catch. We’re, of course, talking about legendaries.
However, catching Arceus in Pokémon Legends: Arceus might be the most time consuming and challenging task in any Pokémon title. We can't make it any easier, but can at least tell you exactly what you need to do in order to catch this Mythical beast.
How to Get Arceus in Pokemon Legends Arceus
Let’s jump right in. For starters, you need to have beaten the main mission of the game. Ideally, we’re not spoiling anything in the game aside from the fact that, well, yes, you can catch Arceus. You’ll know you’re done once you’ve reached the mission, A New Day Dawns. You’re going to need to start the mission, The Researcher of Myths given to you by Captain Cyllenne in Galaxy HQ.
Of course, you must also complete all of the main missions except for number 27, but that task involves you catching Arceus. This means finishing the primary storyline, and the exciting few missions after it, wherein you track down all of the remaining plates.
Upon completion of the pokédex, go and speak to Professor Laventon. After talking to him, you get main mission number 27 – The Deified Pokémon. Next, as you probably guessed, you must ascend the mountain in Coronet Highlands again, returning to the Temple of Sinnoh.
Coronet and play your Azure flute. This will cause a new staircase to appear higher up into the sky. Travel up the staircase and you will face off against "The Original One," aka Arceus. It shouldn't be a problem considering how long it will take you to get to this point, but make sure you've come prepared with a very high level team since this powerhouse appears at level 75 by default and functions a lot like Noble Pokémon encounters as opposed to a traditional one.
